Ramblings of a madwoman</b>

Oy vey folks :shy: So my last journal was when I thought I was actually going to be unemployed for a while NOT that being employed is BAD but definitely profitable.  And that is what occurred. I now have a j-o-b!! I should be thrilled. But the first few weeks literally killed me I am an executive assistant to a Finance Rep for Northwestern Mutual.  We sell life insurance and offer investment services

I work for a very very hard working guy He is out right now until 2pm, then I meet him downstairs with client files and he is off again until nearly 5pm!  So my job is to run him.  What I mean is, I tell him what appointments he has, I prepare the files, prepare illustrations to present the clients, put in applications, fill out applications, submit applications, follow up with underwriting and so on and so forth It's SO fast paced and SO tiring So, needless to say, working 45-50 hours a week I have been getting home and I don't want to be on the computer since I am ALL week for many many hours.  And my facebook and twitter are accessible via my iphone SO...I rarely turn on my laptop anymore.

My life consists of M-F work from 7am-5 or 6pm, then home and dinner and watch TV and pass out Every other weekend we volunteer at the Humane Society www.humanesocietyofpinellas.org which happens to be tomorrow for us I LOVE being there and watching kitties get adopted and taken to a forever home.  My rage for injustice against animals is also growing Part of what I do for work is to check all my boss' emails and voicemails.  He received an email from a client of photos from his trip to Africa.  I was like...ooooo...that should be cool and opened the first one.   I opened it to find a dead lion with the client proudly standing over him with a rifle.  I was instantly sad and furious for the animal There is no reason NONE!!! To kill an animal JUST to kill it I swear some days I hate this world more than I can express.

Anyway...Dave and I put the house hunting on the back burner due to some frustrations that occurred when we almost got a house. And we realized we just weren't ready for that huge monetary chain.  SO...when we move out of our apartment it will be to a house or townhouse to rent.  NO MORE apartment.  I want a yard so we can get a doggie

So not much else exciting to report. I went to Milwaukee, WI last Thursday and came back late Tuesday night.  It was so beautiful The scenery, farm country, hills, wild flowers, cows...everything just brings me to realize how amazingly created this world was by God. And it's so easy to see why we like to travel.  Because no two places are the same. I will be back in Milwaukee for work in a few months for training.  And I can't wait. The weather will no doubt be cooler than HOT HUMID FL!!


NEWS and requests

Is there anyone talented in Vector art that wants to make me a new ID? Or journal CSS??   I really want something cool and personalized.  And that type of talent I completely lack

I haven't been able to get on here NEARLY as much as I would like to, but definitely want to keep recognizing great artists.  I will say a minimum of a month, versus the ambitious week I originally planned, will be the feature. And it will be between 1-5 artists.  Depending on how much time I have to actually seek out   

So, without further delay...

`bigdavec Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know he's my husband.  But the thing is, he thinks he is mediocre in comparison to what his photography is actually worth. So go give him some and a and encourage the heck out of him.  He's a brilliant photographer and the man I adore more than life itself
